What is NAFCA?
The North American Fence Contractors Association (NAFCA) was founded in 2011 by a group of dedicated fence professionals who recognized the need for enhanced education and ethical standards within the industry. This dynamic organization brings together contractors and vendors to foster mutual benefit and uphold the integrity of the fence industry.
NAFCA's Mission Statement
“Bringing together fence contractors and vendors for their mutual benefit and the integrity of the industry.”
NAFCA Stands for Education
Since its inception, NAFCA has prioritized education to improve the fence industry. The organization hosts an annual national fence installation school, alongside numerous gate operator schools for both beginners and advanced installers. These schools are led by seasoned professionals with decades of industry success, providing students with hands-on learning experiences in real-world conditions. NAFCA ensures affordability and accessibility by keeping tuition costs low, making their training available to both members and non-members.
NAFCA Stands for Service
NAFCA's commitment to ethics is demonstrated through its numerous service projects. One notable annual project involves replacing worn, aged fencing at Arlington National Cemetery, allowing NAFCA members and supporters to honor those who have served. NAFCA members also engage in various local and regional service projects, reflecting the organization's strong community spirit.
NAFCA is Run by Volunteers
To maintain affordability, NAFCA operates entirely through volunteer efforts, with no permanent, full-time staff. With annual dues of just $250, NAFCA offers substantial value to its members. Since starting with just 12 members in 2011, NAFCA has experienced significant growth, bucking the trend of declining membership in professional organizations.
